Go fishing

Got off work yesterday and went back to my local waterway. The fish were deep when I first started fishing in 8 fow. As the evening progressed they moved shallower in to 4 fow. The fish were aggressive in there bite really hammering my jigs. I culled out 4 limits to keep my 30. No real big slabs just good fish in pound range. The water temp was 54 degrees. It wont be long before they are spawning. My 5 limit in a row and what a way to start of the fishing season. Tight lines everyone and get out fishing.

that oxbow is like fishing in a barrel !!!!! i heard one guy say is like kissing you sister not much to it! and another one says if you cant catch your limit here this time of year you need to take up golf!!!! this little oxbow will spoil you this time of year!!!!

Hey meat we both have been humbled there before lol. The fishing is picking up and you better shut down the shop to fish. Need to over make your baits in the winter to allow for spring fishing he he he he.

cant make enough,thats good!!!!!! i been fishin some out there just dont stay long , as you know it dont take long there with 8 poles!!! next time i go i am going just to use one pole where i can fish longer than 2hrs!!!!!!!

Are you talking about Lake Hogue between Weiner and Waldenburg or is this some other lake? Out of curiosity, how are they catching them and how deep?
