Default Rain totals after last nights soaker?

Well here in Hot Springs I show about 1.30 of rain in the old gauge, how bout yall? I hate it for those smaller lakes and since I've been planning a trip on one of those type lakes this just pushes it further out. I wanted to hit Blue Mountain before I have to hit the road for work around Feb 20th. That doesn't look like it's going to happen. Heck I'd settle for a Nimrod trip but I'd bet it's high too after last night. Too bad they don't check the forecast and really open them up knowing we have a rain window and could get some of these lakes back down before we really get a flood, oh and so I can fish

Yeah it'll be about mid day tomorrow before we can tell how much these lakes will come up and dams shut off after big rains are the norm where i'm from, sucks but they always do it, giving bigger water the green light for release. The sooner they open the gates back up though is the key, i've seen them leave them high all spring long before and the crappie eggs stay high and dry all too often.
