Thought I was going to get shutout yesterday....

Fished for an hour or so when I got home yesterday evening and boy was it tuff...... Did not catch a single crappie until I hit my last spot and then managed just 2.... Only caught 2 bass as well and I normally can't hardly keep them off the hook...... Anyone else fish yesterday?

I may try and slip out this afternoon for an hour or 2... hopefully with this front coming in they may turn on for a bit....

I guess the cooler temps yesterday and Wed. may have shut them down. Don't give up on 'em, you caught more than I did yesterday (studying).

Well I did get shut out this afternoon..... Me and my youngest son fished for about an hour after he got off the bus..... had to quit after it started raining....

We did catch 10 fish (4 bass, 6 redear) but not a crappie one.....

Will give them another try Sunday when this front has passed through....

I took a guy from Missouri fihing today. We used his large boat and wind was terrible. He did not have a good set up and no marker bouys. Most people were have'n a slow day. We had a descent mess with several in the 12 to 14 '' range. I was suffer'n withdrawl as my boat has been in the shop for over a week ! The fish should bite well in a few days as the weather stablizes. Good luck everyone , hope the rain does'nt mess up the whole weekend.

Heavy Chevy, Spending time with your youngest son, it quality time, if you catch fish or not. My dad and I went fishin plenty of times, that we didn't catch a thing. I just liked being with my dad. Keep up the work work
