    Default Spider Rigging/Lake Conway/Lake Dardanelle

Hey Guys I am posting three decent catches spider rigging Lake Conway and Lake Dardanelle this week on both lakes. Myself and fishing partner Don Blakely had a great day on Lake Dardanelle catching a respectable double limit in about 5 hrs of fishing. The bite has also been fair on Lake Conway for me also. A quality depth finder is a must to locate the fish, cover, and depth they are holding in. Bright colored Midsouth tubes like the one pictured and 1/8 oz jighead below a egg sinker was key in keeping the bait down in 10-15 MPH winds on both lakes. Keep changing Jig colors till you find the one they are eating most and then bait your other rods up and you could be mineing Silver Glory. Now get out there and try some spider rigging it works when other methods wont. LOL Always Use a crappie Nibble and dont leave home without them. JMO Tight Lines from CP.

I have a crappie guide service on Grenada and Sardis and we spider rig minners year round. I know alot of you guys use rod and reel with jigs and do very well, but we look at it like the more minners we have in the water, the more fish we catch.
Occasionally we'll put a jig with a minner on, but not to often. The old minner has worked very well for us.

CP just being CP again.......nice! After all the pics you post Russ I'm thinking the Dark Angel may need to change her name to No Mercy the way you constantly catch em.
