    Default greers ferry lake

Which camp area would you guys reccommend? I have a camper so preferably electricity and water. Looking for a good area to take the wife and kids camping and then get out and do a little fishing. I have a 1548 with a 25 so not really looking to get into big water or around ski boats and party barges during the summer. thanks

All the campsite have electric not sure about water. There is no place safe from the ski boats during the Summer, they go up all the river arms thinks people want to watch them.

This time of year, Choctaw is a good place to start. Some good fishing between Choctaw and Clinton. They have electricity and water. Dump station on way out. Right off hy 65 south of Clinton

All the parks are nice. You have to decide if you are going to fish the north lake or south lake. then look at which way the wind is going to blow. I alway find more fish at Greers on the blown bank. Get a good map. I have caught fish in most every creek on Greers and Creekslick is lucky to have it in his back yard. There is NO WAY to get away from the ticks and fleas in the summer. I get out real early and call it at 10-11. Go below the dam and catch trout. Take your kids, they will have a blast. Its a nice break on a hot summer day.

Hill Creek would be a good place, there's a ramp and marina. Right at the junction of Hill Creek and Devils Fork and only a short run to Middle Fork.
