    Default 70 hp Yamaha

Anyone know where I can come up with a older 70 hp Yamaha? ( Beside off the back of Nimrod's boat)

Looking to upgrade from my 40 hp to a 70. Even take one that needs to be rebuild if price is right. I have two 40's Yamaha now that I'm going to sell if I can find a 70.

Nimrod, what did you do with your old motor?

I have one that spun crankshaft bearings, opted for a new motor. Saving it for parts but might part with it for the right price. SS2004 has been eye'n it in my shop too. One guy looked at it before I decided to buy new and said cylinder walls looked fine. I'm no mechanic so opted for a new motor.

    Hey Nimrod,

What year is it? I'll start putting a list of parts together and kinda see. But, if I tear it open, you better bet I'm gonna bore and put 3 new pistons in and have a new motor.

    Thanks,

Not sure yet. Found one on ebay form $2500 to the door. 1995. But, I also found a brand one today as well. Thinking about it. Told them to put my name on it till we could talk about it after boat show this weekend.

Have 40 tiller and remote model. We'll talk next week?
