They are not just for muddy, they also come in many colors, helps locate the blind and hard hearing fish.
two sometimes three beads of differents colors, orange, red, orange.somestimes you need a loud click and sometimes a soft click.the click click sound of tbe beads makes them think a crawdad is moving around.
OK, I had my wife get out all her beads and she had glass. Now the question is what color. She had clear, white, black, pink, red and brown so I got some of all. Do ya'll use different colors? Also do you use them just when it's muddy or maybe when you just can't get a bite? This sounds like a great idea.
my first choice is pink,2nd chart.3rd orange 4th red 5th purple. about all tackle dealers has them, like bass pro, cabelas, barlows, jans net craft.
Thanks Meatgetter and Turtlebait. I've just never tried that, and didn't know anyone else had. I know the green carp fishermen use rattles and stuff in their tube baits and beads on Carolina rigs! Just never heard of anyone doing it crappie fishing! I learn something every day on here! Thumbs Up
i use them on all my spidder riggin poles and some on my reg. jig pole!!!!!!!!!!! i have see when i think its made a difference.
To get them to click you will need slack in the line as to jig or jert,...
I don't hardly ever use them anymore and they are not for everyday use
B/c somedays crappie will hit the beads and not the lure.they are just another trick that does not work altime
just like some of the plastic that doesn't work altime.the bottom bead can be a tab heigher then
the top bead....humm get a short line a glass of water and jig, jert the beads to see what it takes to make
them click.the click is more important then color choose ,you do not want the fish hitting at the beads as they
do.
Thanks again, guys! Next time I'm in BPS I'm gonna check into that. Thumbs Up
never heard of anyone usin them crappie fishin.. That makes sense though!!! Thanks for the tips, learn somethin new everyday!!!
