Well first off thank you for taking the time to reply to my thread! I was hoping to get some idea where to go. I haven't fished dardnelle much cause I live so far and I really don't know just where to start.

we have been fishing out of ouita for awhile,,pretty suscessfully until day before yesterday actually, it slowed way down then and really took a nose dive for us today..but today,,in all fairness,,we were wanderers, we were looking for more fish, and didn't find them. If you know where ouita is, I'd put in there, head east by north cross under the intersate 40 bridges,,bear left, you'll see a narrow opening that leads into the strip pits....its weedy so its shallow in the opening...might trim up and reduce speed to no wake..Do Not take the cut to the left of it,,it leads into a very shallow flat, from the cut,,you will see a fairly large bay,,a few acres in size...we have been fishing points in 25 to 30 ft. of water...hope this helps.

Took Your advice and went to the strip pits today. We had a good day but we didn't catch alot. We ended up with 3 keepers and a few small ones and some bass. I really appreciate the tip, that seems to be a pretty popular spot. Thanx again!
