    Scratched out a solid limit today, it's looking like I will be having crappie fillets with my black eyed peas and hog jowl on new years day.They were thumping my jig good today, I limited out in about two hours, however I spent 3 hours locating the crappie, so I got 5 hours invested in this stringer of crappie not counting cleaning time, I was vertical jigging lay down logs and cypress roots. They were tight to the cover and right on bottom, just like you would expect them to be in post front conditions. Black/chartreuse was the tube jig of choice today tipped with a sparkle nibble.
