I think alot of it comes with getting older. I used to NEVER get sick, even with not dressing properly for the conditions. I rode myself hard and hung up wet many a years and in all rights shoulda died from pneumonia and never even got sick. Now as I'm getting older and TRYING to look after myself it seems crap happens. I've had a sinus infection for a couple weeks now and it seems it just wont go away. I've been taking some powerful pennicillin pills and just ran out. Gonna call the doc tomorrow and see if he'll renew that prescription. I've made up my mind to just lay low and get over it. The fish will wait, even if the deer season is fixing to end. There's always next year I guess. Take care of yourself buddy.

Russ, I hate to hear that. Hope you get better. Did you take a flu shot this year?

Russ....Hate that you have the crudes, and sounds like you need to get that strong medicine in your system for a while, and rest.
When I get there in Jan. I'll have some George Dickle that'll make you feel like your 8 feet tall and bullet proof....
Ole xring probably put a hex on ya for catching all those crappie, keep your good eye on em.

JigFlinger I hope you feel well soon and get back to flinging Jigs soon. I remember i caught Pneumonia when i was 16 years old and right after a very cold Ice Fishing trip. With both lungs about half way filled with fluids when i finally seen a doctor, it put me in the hospital for three weeks and just about sent me to an early Grave. I was starting to see blue crappies floating around in the room with wings. That Pneumonia can put a real hurting on a Crappie Fisherman.

Sounds like you might need a good strong tottie Russ! Once you get over this get you a jar of local honey and take a teaspoon full every day and that will do wonders for sinus, allergies and colds. Be sure it is good local honey and not that processed and watered down stuff in the grocery stores.
