Lake Atkins (not atkins lake)

I have a free day tomorrow and thinking of making a trip up! Deciding between there and gold creek but I figure the creek will be packed! Has any one heard or have any reports from up there? Thanks!

define lake atkins,,its whereabouts, I have fished atkins lake since it was formed,,or as some refer to it, lake atkins,,so I am a bit confused...Is there more than one lake atkins?

Meatgetter I would rather go to the creek just cause I know a lil about it but it really is uncomfortable when there are tons of boats! I may still do it! XRing Lake Atkins is up around Atkins and Atkins lake is just out of pine bluff! Any of you boys gonna be at gold creek tomorrow?

My boy and I will probably give the creek a try in the am - tried the afternoon today - not many boats but not many fish caught either!

I'm familiar with the one out of Pine Bluff. It has it's moments from what I hear.....I've just never been able to hit it at the right time.
