Default Fishing with Grumpy old men.

Xring and I met up with rtark on Dardanelle this morning. It was a little cool and windy. Xring was putting it on this whipper snapper something awful to start with. I finally switched to a hair jig Meatgetter made for me in 1/8 oz. I got my bait deeper after watching X catch 7 or 8. We started out fishing as deep as 32 ' of water. Moved later on some ledges with brushpiles out of the wind somewhat for awhile. We culled out everyones limits and released a bunch more. Thanks X for the fishing trip. Here are a few photo of the Gumpy old men and our catch.Thumbs Up

Don't know about these guys but I'm worn out from fishing in the cold wind!

Oh yea , Crappie pro just keep hunting and stay out of True Grit Country!Rofl

You biggest fish was a Little bigger than mine but I mighta whooped you on numbers. I had a 1/2 limit while you were still sitting on the side of your bed trying to figure out if you were going to bed or getting up. It was fun guys, a little cool but fun. We saw a couple guys in a little boat casting a jig around the steep banks and were absolutely slaughtering them. I caught a lot of mine on a Char/ Pink jig I tied and a lot on a char/yellow SlabSlayer looking jig that Crappiepro gave me last summer.
    It ain't nuttin but luck.
