    Default The Star's Of The Night/Lake Conway/17th Limit In a Row/11-20-11

It was unseasonably warm, calm, and cloudy as I ventured out yesterday evening and I knew some big rain was about to hit. I decided to try em at night as the other fisherman were loading up for the day just me and one other fellow and his wife and kid had the whole central AR C.com hole all to ourselves. At one time we crossed paths as we both landed a decent fish in the dark. We both asked how each other was doing, and we both said Great!!!. Under My light I pulled crappie after crappie out from Gator Grass, Lilly pad stems, and boat docks. It was a great night of verticle crappie fishing that lasted till 9PM and I left em bitting and felt the first rain drops hitting my face as I hit the boat ramp with a Limit. Bobby Garland/Mo Glo Scent wiggler stole the show as it introduced a couple of it's co star's to you-all under the bright lights of Lake Conway. Also here is a Pic of the re-inforced Titanium Tip on the Ozark Rod. Tight Lines...

Caught nearly a limit the same way on conway on the 18th in about an hour. Had to leave them biting right before dark because my boat lights were not working. No huge fish but all good 10-12 inch keepers. Nice fish CP

The MO GLOW scent wiggler came through again I see. We are hoping the creek don't get too dirty here after all the rain stops.
    It ain't nuttin but luck.

The Mo Glo is deadly, Russ. I have used it with great success in Lake Monticello when they were 50-55 ft deep. BTW, it is getting about time for that to be happening again on LM. Usually when deer season is about over it's time to hit the deep clear water for some of those cold black speckled slabs! I'll let you know when.....just be sure and have plenty of line on those rods! LOL

I've had really good luck with that bait as well. Obviously it's a great early and late bait, but I've also fished it during the day on really dark/low cloud cover type days with good results.
