    Default Crappie Tournaments in Arkansas

We tried to start this last year but it never got off the ground. Who would be interested in fishing some next year? I would like to see us fish about 6 different lakes then a championship. Here are a few I had in mind: Horseshoe, Conway, Dardanelle, Greers, plus one in the South part of the state and one in the north part of the state. These are just my thoughts. Let's hear from some others.

Creekslick, was there a reason why it never took off? I remember a few attempts made last year to start discussions on tourneys, and the one thing that makes it difficult is getting bogged down in the details. It seems to me that something like this could be successful, if it is kept as absolutely simple as possible. Following the KISS method is of utmost importance. Just my thoughts though, from what I have read. Hopefully, there will be a good, healthy discussion, and real results can be seen.

Sounds interesting to me, being a newbie,,do I get a 10# handicap? I think it would be a great way to meet other members, maybe learn some from the pros..

We waited a little too late last year to get started planning. I would like to see us have the first tournament in February, maybe at Horseshoe.
