Horseshoe Lake

Can someone point me in the right direction on Horseshoe? I haven't fished it since I was about 30 years old, and I'm 66 years young now so I'm sure some things have changed on the lake.
I can return the favor on Grenada Lake, Ms if needed. All this can be done by private message if need be.
I remember those huge shellcrackers, man I loved catching those big rascals.

Well crappie is my choice, but bream after that. It's hard to beat them two fish for my house, very good eatin....

Haven't fished the Shoe in a few weeks, but did a photo shoot for Xpress last week, and the crappie were stacked up in 6-8 fow on the south end. Used to be Pete Strieff's place. It's Clyde's now. I think you could push minnows or jigs and catch a mess of em right out from the boat ramp and across to the point of trees, and/or out from the piers in that depth. Might be in the edge of the pads, or on the piers too.

I saw em on my DI feeding on small shad there also. They are there, just gettin em to bite. LOL
