Default Fishing was fair considering the cold front

I fished tops, stakebeds and stumps 6 to 12' of water. Some were deep and tight while some were suspended. They hit the 2'' umbrellas like I always use. Tried silver/white, purple/white, and purple chartruse with all colors catching fish. Shad were flipping on the surface everywhere today. The Crappie I cleaned were full of Shad with some being over 3'' long. Don't understand everyone wanting to downsize baits, atleast here. I kept a limit of 10 to 13'' Crappie. Probably released another 50 or more with part of them big enough to keep.

Down sizing will work one day then not the next. Stick with what works. No fishing for me today, putting new floor in the boat but got cabin fever yesterday and went out for a couple hours just before dark. Kept 6 for supper.
    It ain't nuttin but luck.
