    Default Horseshoe

Hey guys, Myself and about 6 other guys are heading down to horseshoe (nearwest memphis) for a day of fishing next week. I have fished piers and trees but since the weather changing as it is, I was wanting to know where probably the best place to start this time of year. Im setup for trolling but my brother/boat partner is more of a bobber watcher, but he will do whatever to catch a fish
Is there any structure/cover placed out in the open water?
Thanks in advance for the info.

No cover in deeper water. Pads, piers, and trees all in shallower water. Been a few times lately and zilch. Talked to a guy Friday and same story. I long lined jigs and he pulled cranks.

have a friend that fished over there all year round til his buddy that owned the place died. he said they mostly relied on dock shootin with just about any kind of jig. he said the secret was getting them as far back under the dock as possible.

There are some piers on the edge of deep water.

I live by the lake and the dock shootin is the best way to go.

Size: 66.9 KBThe fish have been biting in the pads about 3-5 feet, I've been getting 20-25 every trip. No minnows, black/chart jigs. I did catch a few around the piers but nothing to brag about. The bite has been consitent all summer in the pads, just had to gotta go early and leave early before it gets to hot.
