hey creek, i got a buddy that lives up there and has been wanting me to come up and fish with him, but not for crappie. he said it was to clear. i assume you are pulling the cranks, how far back and how deep are they running?? i might take him up on it now that i see they can be caught.

He is right it is clear but he is wrong about the crappie. If you come up here and try to single pole like you do on the Big 4 down there you are just wasting your time. Took me several years to learn that. These were about 12'-14' down.

Nice catch. Luvpt keep them boys off the wheelers. Sorry to hear about the mishap. I see too many young ones come in also and some aren't as fortunate as yours.

I got one thing to say. That's either a small bottle or some big crappie.Rofl

I'll let you know the next time I can't go. I suspect the bite will be at least as good if not betterRofl
