Well guys I have put two solid days of Crappie Fishing on Lake Conway. First off it was great to meet SlabsNTtators on Gold Creek and TonyJohn on Caney Creek hope to see you Guys agian here on Lake Conway. I have had several Pms about the fishing on Lake Conway namely Gold and Caney creeks. Here is what I found out Gold Creek was slow fishing with fish running 9-12 inches took me from about 9AM-dark to catch 16 keepers 10-12 inches and missed three good fish also. Most caught in the pads along the creek and caught a few around the I-40 bridge.
Caney Creek was also a bunch of 9-12 inchers but i caught, kept, or released probly 75 in six hours. Myself and my Uncle kept a double limit from Caney today. Guys the Biguns will show soon. Lake Conway is One big rain and cold front from exploding into Silver Glory. The lure in the Picture has been putting a hurting on the fish for me here and I wanted to share it with you-all. Notice how I have it trimmed and use a nibble on this bait. It is a Midsouth tube #811. Crappiepro approved for Lake Conway. Make sure you have a pack of these if you come when it gets hot and trim it like in the Picture. I really believe it makes a difference here on Lake Conway. SO i will be back on Caney in the morning weather permitting. Hope to see one of you all there. Ohh Ya you guys who have orders placed with me your orders are in hand and ill get them to ya as soon as possible. Tight Lines.. GUYS
