    Default Ipilot trouble

Been dealing with some funky Ipilot trouble the last month. Not anything that would shut you down fishing, but just an aggravating problem. Looks like minnkota is gonna take care of it with no problemsThumbs Up. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Remote goes to sleep when you are at the back of the boat.

I had a similar incident happen with my terrova with autopilot/copilot the other day. Was cruising along, went to back of boat and it was like I got out of range or something. Got back up front and made heading adjustment and no further problems. I was into the wind and was pretty bouncy......maybe that was it......
    Keep me updated.

Just retested this afternoon. Seems to get out of range at about 15 feet and the remote goes completely off. It is the head unit in mine that is the problem. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Good, I got super service when I had a problem with mine. When I turned mine, the head would spin in circles until it wrapped up my TD cable. Turned out some mud made its way into the foot control and messed up the electronics. 2 yrs later and not a problem. I haven't even changed the remote battery.
    It ain't nuttin but luck.
