Here is an old time lake Conway secret that always works when nothing else will. Find the hollow stumps. Fish right down in the the middle of the stump. When things ain't good, this'll work. It's almost as good as dennimite, but the fishing trip will last a little longer.

I've always had good luck with the Bream and Redear around Hog Island on North end of lake.

Over towards the NE corner, near where Palarm Creek comes into the lake.
