Default Directions to Nimrod Lake Crappie camp.

Yahoo! Maps, Driving Directions, and Traffic

There are two main roads off #60 hwy that run together, there is a brown Corps of Engineers sign on the highway (Carter Cove). They lead to the park and it is paved all the way. This google map from Little Rock to the Park should work for most.

For those that might know. Coming from Jonesboro I come in on hwy67. Is it faster to turn at Beebe and go through Conway or go on to LR and use Nimrods directions.

Bill, if you come into Conway on 64, jump on interstate east for one exit(129) and take it west all the way.Dave Ward drive, and it turns into hy. 60.

Billy, it's 50 miles and one hour from my house in Conway to the launch ramp. I live in West Conway, but my opinion is you'd be better off to turn off at Beebe, come through Conway, do what Steve says and go toward Little Rock one exit and take Dave Ward Drive West. About 6 or 7 miles you will intersect Hwy 60 West at Toadsuck. Turn left and stay on 60 till you see the Carter Cove COE sign. Just my preference, but you can check the mileage by computer. Sure wish I could join you guys!

I'd like to be there myself. Don't know how it's gonna work out.

Wish I could make it down there for this. Sounds like a lot of fun! Would be nice to fish that old lake again.
