It was a tough day of fishing at "unnamed" the events were as follows:
1. Sleep walk during night and turn off all alarm clocks (this was according to wife).
2. Get up late at 6:15 throw stuff in truck go get ice head off to lake like a bat.
3. Get half way to lake and while making a turn on 2 wheels, 1 minner bucket turns over in the boat.
4. Park on side of road to perform rescue on minners which had managed to scatter themselves from the front of the boat to the back of the boat, possibly due to g-forces from turn on 2 wheels and the heavy application of brakes shortly thereafter. Managed to rescue most with only a few casualties.
5. Get to to "unnamed" at 7:30 and immediatly proceeded to kill the bite on the whole awks bowl. (this according to Tommy)
6. Get on the water and get 8 poles set to spider rig.
7. Have sudden bathroom pain.
8. Decide to tough it out.
9. Fish for a few hours with eyes all bugged out due to bathroom pain.
10. Talk to Tommy for a few minutes. He says thanks for shutting down the bite. I say you're welcome.
11. Finally catch fish.
12. Land fish and hurt arm patting self on the back.
13. Activate spot lock on Ipilot
14. Take fish off.
15. Start to rebait and turn around...pole is broke in half????????
16. Investigate breakage and figure out that when I laid the pole down to take fish off, it lays between depth adjustment knob and shaft of Terrova. When I activate spot lock, motor turns on its own and breaks pole.
17. Catch and release multitude of stumps and trees.
18. Use all of pre tied 2 hook rigs I have taken with me.
19. Switch to single jigs
20. Figure out hot color is grape and pale green with shiny spots.
21. Catch fish.
22. Put left over minners on pizza for supper
Fish total
9 regular crappie
4 bucket mouth crappie
3 whiskered crappie
28 small mouth crappie.
Good to visit with you Tommy.
