Default I Keep working for em/Blue Collar Crappie 2/Lake Conway 8-17-11

Well Guys I just haft to keep working for them, covering as many live cypress trees as I can. Fished from 11 AM- Dark, caught 16 keepers and 5 nice fish. LOL I am covering water fast as the fish are bad scattered all over the place. Very seldom catching more than one at any given tree. I was batteling spiders, tree limbs, spider webs, buffalo nats, Trot lines, heat, wind, a lil rain, while keeping a woeful eye out for wasp nest and Cotton mouths in the trees. Oh ya and a stone cold bite two hours before dark. They just quit on me before dark. It's been this way for me most trips this summer here on Conway. They aint giving me nothing easy and I am earning every fish I catch. LOL they are working me hard, so you can understand the title of my last two posts Blue Collar crappie. Lake Conway is a verticle jigging heaven.

HAHA Shane ya them wolf spiders can put a good scare to ya when they jump off the tree onto you. Had one jump right off the tree onto my hat, down my shoulder and right into my boat and run up under my deck where i couldnt get to him. Bout scared me half to death. So I was stuck fishing knowing a huge spider is lose in my boat. Burrrrrrrrrrrr....

Nice fish Russ! Don't let those Wolf spiders scare you too bad...... I'm thinking maybe a White River Bayou for Sat morning (If you know what I mean)! David has been having a vision for the past couple of day's and that is usually a good sign!

HAHA Steve I would rather be seeing silver on the white than rainbow colors, but every now and then me and my wife like to hunt for a pot of Gold. Good luck On the lower White and ill try to work um over on the upper White.
