    Default Not Bad for Hogue in July.......


    Never expect much at this place- but on occasion, it gives ya enuff to eat!
    Spider riggin 4 poles with jigs, various colors
    Heat & rain storm and it was still fun!!!

    Good lookin fish for coming out of Hogue in this weather!!! Great catch!!! I know we used to catch some hawgs out of there when i was in school at ASU but they came far and few between!!!

    Nice Fish, Do they stock tulapia in that lake? Seems like I heard they did, not sure.

    I know they used to. I made a couple of trips there about 10 years ago to try my luck catching tagged fish. I haven't heard anything in the last few years though.

    Russ they have not stocked them in 3-4 years. Game and Fish said it had to do with $. When they did you could fish a red worm on the bottom along the levy and wear them out. Better yet in Nov-Dec when the water got cold they would float to the top and you could scoop them up with a net.
