You would have caught a pot full of fish with 6. ;-). I know you sit in the middle of the boat. Aint no way you run from front to back in 105 degree heat!!! That would kill my fat asp.

so how does that rig with the weights work? Do you put an egg sinker up the line from the cranks? how far up?
interested in running a couple off of my front. . usualy just pull 4 off of the back ....

4 oz weight around 3ft up he line,and yeas i use an egg sinker.baits will run back some,weight wont hold them straight down.i call the fish i catch on my weighted poles my bonus fish lol

I was using 4 poles. 2 bass rods and 2 wally marshall 12 footers. Put trolling motor on high speed and pulled from the front of boat. Did real good at Greers at times, haven't done it any this year. Got tired of getting hung up and losing crankbaits. Still a good way to fish, just prefer to do it places with not so much timber.

Bandit prefers you fish in timber. They need the money. If you never lose them, the only way those poor guys can make a buck is to keep changing colors. Which they r good at.
