Default Bream or Crappie reports for Mississippi River lakes

I was thinking about trying one of the Mississippi River lakes this weekend for bream since I think they ought to be bedding, but I would be more than glad to catch some crappie. Anyone have any reports? The Mississippi g & f report talks like they are catching some bream in DeSoto, right across the river from Mellwood.

By the way I heard that every building at Mellwood had water over the roofs in the recent flood, and I think Janice at Maddox Bay had to get flooded bad, but I haven't been able to get Ron, Johnny, or Janice. Anyone know for sure?

Hey - River, Let us know when you can fish Tinica without getting a pass. I drove from Jonesboro 3-4 weeks ago for a trip from He#% dealing with the police and a pass that you can only get on the weekday. I will thank you for that info

I just talked to Mrs. Atkinson at Mellwood, and she tells me every single house, mobile home, trailer, duplex at Mellwood was completely destroyed by the flood.

Is the ramp or lake (Mellwood) open for business?

I have heard it was, but I can't say I absolutely know that.
