Default Nimrod build was a success catching fish

I took a friend jiggin today. We fished lots of cover, a few from the last build. Kept our limits , just no slabs. After filleting our Crappie and a Catfish there was a full gallon bag of fillets. We used jigs tightlining over cover. Released lots more small Crappie too.
Saw boats setting on the rebuilt goverment piles catch fish too. So I consider the build a success.Hands Clapping Ran into JJohnson and Slabandit on the lake. Said they limited out on minnows too. They were trolling the south bank area across from Anderson Branch.
Time for a fish fry at the Cove tonight.Thumbs Up

We bait holes around cover on river or creek channel drops. Best if it has a hard bottom and stumps or other cover too.
