Advice
My family is going down to Bull Shoals to do some swimming and recreation. I want to crappie fish but I am not used to water as clear as Bull Shoals. How should I fish it, with cranks? Jigging if so how deep and so on. Any advice I can get would be much appreciated.

This time of year up there, you'll probably want to night fish under a light or spider rig early morning. At night you'll likely find them in around 25-40 feet of water on brush near/next to the main channel. In the morning, main creek channels, a bit more shallow as they'll be coming up the slopes to feed a bit, just find the depth of the bait schools and put your bait just a teensy bit higher. Understand, that this is merely a guess based on what they normally do this time of year on Bull Shoals. With the water up, and given I haven't heard boo about water temps up there this summer...that's about the best I can give you right now.

Thank you good sir I will just wait until the sun goes down then. I like fishing then because it's cooler anyway. I hope to catch a mess of crappie and maybe a walleye or two.
