    Default Old River 6/14/11

Caught these tuesday morning... Fished from about 8 until 1045... I caught all of them on brushpiles and docks in 10-12 Feet of water fishing 6-10 feet deep.. Caught them all on jigs... Guess them crappie don't like this hot weather either, as soon as it turned hot they completely shut off and I couldn't buy a bite, talked to a friend and he said the same thing happened to him over the weekend.. It was fun to get out and catch some though..

P.S. I just had to keep those dinks, I WAS MAD AT EM!!! LOL

No i didn't make it over there... Got too hott too quick.. Me and a buddy went out Sunday and trolled around that flat though and picked up 10 but only one was a keeper and we through them all back.. My dumb a$% forgot my Gps though so I couldn't find exactly where they were but I'm sure we got close to them and we didn't pick any up there.. I will be off MON, TUE, WED; if the weather permits we should go one afternoon.. Maybe even drop some new piles if i can get motivated to go cut some cane in this heat.. LOL (THAT WILL BE HARD TO DO)

It is private.. In order to be a member of The Rod and Reel club that I belong to you have to own property on the lake.. I do not know of any pay to launch ramps on the lake or the stipulations of other clubs... But if you want to fish it I would be more than happy to take you anytime you want to go... I work a crazy schedule and usually fish on the weekdays by myself and would love to have a fishing partner... Heck I bet I could learn a thing or two from a PRO like you!!! LOL just PM me if you are interested in going and we can set up a trip..
