Anyone know at what level the White reads at Augusta for the river to be out of Hurricane and to be able t get in? Anyone done any good lately? May drive over and have a look this afternoon. . . .. usually fish Barnett, but been too busy to go at all for a couple of months, may try somewhere in the morning... Thanks!

The sign says "Access gates will be closed at 192.0 and reopened at 191.5" I just know they leave them closed alot longer now than they used to. To many morons tried driving through with little cars and ended up in the ditches.

river just dropped below flood stage (26 feet) so it should open in the next week or so depending on the amount of damage done to the roads I'll drive that way tomorrow afternoon and see

Last I read on the weather report it was showing that it would be 26.1 all week. They are releasing from the 2 big lakes and they haven't started letting Greers down yet. If you look at weather.com it will have the sever weather alerts for Searcy and that will tell the river stage if it is above flood level and the expected levels for the following five days. Even though hurricane is flooded there should still be some good fishing if you know how to motor the boat trails. 2 winters ago the level was app. where it is now and they were catching crappie in the middle of Willow on cane poles while we were shooting ducks. Also Little Hurricane is good when flooded.
