This weekend

Got a chance to take my youngest fishing yesterday. we caught 200 plus crappie but a shame we had to thin out the small ones. We caught 15 small ones for every keeper fish. The bite was good with multiple fish on at a time. We got our 60 but it took us a while.

Went back today and was pretty much the same except I got to fish alone with my ol lady. Between the kids burning up the text and phone calls from them we caught another 200 plus fish but the small ones were abundant. She had me sleep this morning so we fished in the hot part of the day. Man that was tough too. I think by the end of the day she had the trolling down pretty good and was catching em pretty dang good. I wish I had some picts to share but she wouldn't let me take any LOL. All in all a good weekend with a lot of fish caught. Gotta get this umbrella mount figured out so we don't continue to bake in my aluminum boat next weekend. Anyone have any experience with the terrova and HB 597 give me a shout. I put a post for help in the electronics section. Anytime I turn Tm on the HB goes crazy with readings. Turn TM off and the depth finder reads normal?

Sounds like you were in lots of action J.W.!! One good thing about those small fry is that you do get in lots of practice. Makes you appreciate the big slabs when they decide to bite.
