    Default Fishing Today


    Well met up with LUVPT and Blue Thunder for a little outing on our local waters. We caught many a fish. More fish than I would have thought after fishing there Friday by myself and only catching two fish. Not bragging but those guys can fish now. We boated over 150 fish, missing multiple good ones, and kept 31 good fish. I learned a lot about trolling jigs for sure today. hope you enjoy the pictures.

    We had a great time J.W. and were glad to have you in the boat to put you on a few fish. Just sorry that we caught so many of the smaller fish.....it wasn't that bad yesterday. No telling how many slabs we lost while trying to take multiple small ones at one time off the rods. With that short bite today we had to set the hook instantly or they would spit it out and be gone. And the bigger fish had the lightest bites! I have had very few days where I missed as many bites as I did today. Just wait until that Mississippi River goes down.....that's when the Crappie fishing will be right!

    Sorry Meatgetter! You know how it is when you gotta do what you gotta do to find fish! We're just trying out a few different waters while waiting for the MS river to go down so we can get back to our normal Honey Holes! Actually, until about two weeks ago I thought Lake PB was part of the AR river! I had never looked at it very close and up until David (Blue Thunder) moved to White Hall we usually went either South or East to fish.
