ACFA Tourney Weigh-In Pics/Lake Conway

Guys we had 11 teams show up for the ACFA Tourney, and it was a good time had by all. Team CrappiePro consisted of Me, My Wife Shelly, My Daughter Joyce, her Fiancee Mike, and my Two Wiener dogs Petey and Pixie. We battled wind, cypress Trees, and deep water snags to bring in five fish just over five pounds and a 4th place finish. The winning weight was over 11 lbs caught by Dennis/Midsouth Man and his partner Don. Second and 3rd place finisher's both brought in 7 fish for over 8 lbs. Live cypress Trees in 6-8 feet of water, tube jigs tipped with minnows and 1/8 oz heads seem to be the best bait for the day. It was nice to see Crappie.comers coming together and fishing a tourney it's been way past overdue. And I hope it grows from here, Man me and my family had a blast except for the three good ones we lost LOL. Wished I could have fished it, but enjoyed the weigh-in anyway.CP I think that wide angle lens did it's job on me. Goin on a diet now. See you all at Greers next.

Thanks guys, I had a great time and I'm looking forward to the next one. Myself and don will be at the crappiemasters tourney all this coming week so post will be slow for me.
