In March of this year, Governor Beebee signed a bill which established a Lifetime Hunting/Fishing License for military retiree's over 60 yrs old. They were supposed to be available May 20. But for whatever reason, the Commissioners haven't gotten their act together and decided what documents they need to see to verify that the individual really is retired and is really over 60. Seems to me that my DD Form 214 and my retired ID card should be sufficient. Now the license desk tells me that the commissioners will consider this issue at their June meeting and the license should be available sometime in late June.
thanks for the info...as I meet the above stated standards I will definitely be on the look out...also thanks for the info on trilene fishing line...I hate to get home from Walmart and have a rotten spool of line...since I switched to mostly braid with flouro leaders I do not buy much mono...anyhoo fido...
Save the planet, it is my favorite place to fish...
