Gatortailman, did you ever get any help on Dierks, I'm looking for some help there too. Never fished it, but headed that way soon. Any help beats starting from scratch

Only fished it once in the past 20 years. But it is a beautiful little lake.

i wish i could help ya on dierks...only 16 miles from the house but boat is in the shop and been working lots of hours here lately. have not been in over a month now. but i believe all ramps are closed. only one that might be open is at the very end of jefferson ridge and then you'll most likely be launching in the tree tops

thanks guys, appreciate the help. I new it was high, just trying to get enough info to get me started once the water gets back down to a reasonable level. I've fished Gillham the past few years and really like it, but have read where some believe Dierks is better, thought about finding out for myself.

We fished Dirkes about a month ago and the fish were about 8 foot deep in about 20-25 feet of water off of the river channel. I have no clue where they would be now with this high water.

thanks for the help. I have my doubts fishing would be much good with this high water. But as soon as it is down close to reasonable, I'd like to try it.
