Default Boat Ramps at Lake Lee and Grand Lake - Pics

The first pic is the ramp at Grand Lake in Eudora taken 04/27. Lake is outside the levee and not so bad right now. Thought these would be interesting to some of our fellow SE Ark fishermen.

The second pic is the boat ramp at Lake Lee. That is Deerfield Road at the top left of the pic. Notice the pilings in front are completely submerged. The MS river still rising. Will hit 60.0 ft at +Greenville on 05/15. Highest since 1937.

Whoever built that house up on the mound that's on Hwy 454, may look pretty smart. Maybe we can fish Lee by fall.

Good aerial pics Steve. I saw your plane flying over Grand Lake when you snapped them. I was trolling the north end there. Grand is actually about 2 feet low. Chicot is still 1-1/2 foot low. And the river is rolling!!

I should have known that was you Bill !!! I took a pic of the only boat I saw on the lake so this pic has to be you! There was something on the lens which made a dark spot behind your boat. I'm putting a pic on of the bridges also. So how did you do on Grand? It was the first day in a while that was good for either fishin' or flyin' and I picked flyin' cause of the high water and wanted to check out the lakes anyway. When Lee does come back down hopefully it will be back like it was two summers ago. BTW, I heard a rumor they were catchin' em on Chicot in front of the Pecan Grove. I just haven't been putting a lot of stock in some of the rumors I've been hearing lately. Hopefully we'll be back on those river lakes before too long.

Nice pictures, those are my favorite fishing lakes. Hope to be heading that way this weekend if I'm not going to be working. Grand was really low my last trip down in March, some of the cypress that we were catching big crappie around last year we're unfishable this year. All that water across the levee and low levels just on the other side.

If anyone likes bream fishing, it has been really good at Chicot, with some real big ones being caught. I'm not to proud to say that I get a tube of crickets and go after them quite often when I'm there.

Not sure that's me there Steve. But the plane I saw was on a path to Jackson and Washington. Anyhow, the fishing was poor. Lots o' little ones. I had enough keepers for a mess but the bite was slow. Some are being caught in 2 FOW around the trees but no limits I've heard of. Trolling isn't being productive. I also hear that catfish are doing it in the shallows in Grand and Chicot both. I've heard of no good strings of crappie being caught in front of Pecan Grove, only bream and cat. But the weather systems aren't being very kind this spring to us trollers. Oh well, it's gotta' get better.
