# of fish weighed in doesn't matter to me, I just didn't know what normal crappie tourn rules are. I think dead fish are ok since I would rather not exclude someone just because they don't have a livewell.

In bass tournament a 1 man team still pays the whole entry, I would assume it would be the same with a crappie tournament. Makes me no differance, but I think it needs clarified.
Yea if you get the whole pot then you have to pay the whole entry fee.
The entry fee is usually per boat so it would not matter if it was one or two people in the boat the fee would be the same. Weigh 7 fish dead or alive but try to keep them alive. 8 rods per boat 2 hooks per rod.
i think before we have a tour. you should appoint a four or five person commitee to make the rules and come up with a schedule of tour dates and a discussion about the lakes . if the schedule is made in advance everone will have more time to make plans to be their or pre fish. just my opinion.
a Committee is good, but you have to have a dedicated person to lead it. My thoughts are that Mid Southman (since he volunteered) puts together the tournament rules and dates for this first tourney. Then he can post them and we can discuss anything that may need changed. A 2 week notice for this first one is going to be a scramble, but I say we go for it. Any needs for change can be discussed as they arise. but if we follow the pro rules then we should be good.
i don't think there should be a restriction on the number of poles because it is all about learning new methods and which method works best. I even think maybe yo yos should be allowed.

I think it would be nice thing to do. Would like to see some rules and clarification on things. I is and would always be a challange to fish new water and learn how to catch more fish.
