I know better than to ask where you caught them but how about the general area? Ouita,Shoal Bay, Piney???
I hope to try them this weekend but can't make up my mind where to start.

Strange but they are still deep and the water temp is 68 degrees. I caught 15 total egg filled females but kept this dozen. They were in 10-12 fow in the brush tops. I caught these by casting a blue & pearl slabbandit. The fish were spooky so I had to cast from as far away as I could with a 11 foot rod. That was some kind of fun. Three were 15 inches long. Same thing yesterday but only had 8 over 12" with 1 15".

Nice fish thanks for posting.
A bad day of fishing
beats a good day at work.

Sweet! It seems they are still deep all over the state. I hope they don't drop their eggs and have a spawn failure.
I don't mind telling you at all. People help me all the time and I like for everyone to catch fish. I caught these at Ouita.
Shoal Bay is as good a place or maybe better. Its just that shoal bay is twice as far and these gas prices are eating up my retirement budget. I will pm you.

Nice mess

I really appreciate it. I live here in Rsvl. and normally fish Nimrod but am trying to learn Dardanelle since it is so close. Maybe we will run into each other on the water some time.
Fancy Seats have you fished Illinois Bayou or Delaware this spring?
WOODY
Not yet. I have been to Nimrod and a couple of reservoirs in East Arkansas but haven't fished Dardanelle at all yet.
