    Default Weather warning!!!!

In a teleconfrence with the National Weather Service today they stated that the conditions are right for Arkansas to see the worst weather of the decade beginning around 6 PM for Western Arkansas (River Valley area). They stated that if this storm forms super cells then it will likely produce monstrous Tornadoes rating F3+. due to the closely following cold front. If the cells do not form then we should expect baseball sized hail. and extremly powerful winds and thunderstorms.

I am not sure how much of the state this will effect, but please keep an eye on the weather throughout the night.

    God Bless and good luck.

    Default Weather warning!!

I have caught some of my best stringers of fish during these kind of weather systems. Some of the biggest bass and some of the biggest flathead cats I have ever caught was right in the middle of the storm. Something about thiese systems that turns the predatory fish on to biting.

Hey slab - Good hearing from you. I have some pics (30 years old) of me on the MS river with 2 foot of catfish in the bottom of the boat covered with 6" of hail. I guess GOD was icing the fish down for us. If we didnt have boat cushions to cover our head I would be dead or dumber than I am now. I have always worked a 50-60 hour week so as long as there is very little lightening, I cant fish in the wind and rain.
