Yesterday I put in at Pierce creek landing off of 89. launched about 0900. I started on the south bank and fished down the bank till the water got just too shallow for my boat. then crossed to North bank. where i had the opportunity to view a pair of nesting Bald eagles and saw 10 Deer. fished all the way back to across from the landing. Long casting...cork & Jig. as for what color i used the answer is yes:D... all of them. caught 2 nice bream and bout a 2lb bass(1/32oz,green/chart). no crappie.
So I decided to motor down to 89 bridge, then keep heading south to the earthen dam. I Caught 3 nice Bass right off the bat, using Meatgetter 1/8oz pink head & pink/white body. went down the dam, jigged the big metal Grate thing then continued down the bank.:o Nothing... so went back the other direction Nothing again. Motored back under 89 bridge went about 1/2 way back to Pierce landing and fished south bank again. From there all the way to the big long metal dock....1 tiny lil crappie bout 6 inches long by first dock.
Watched a beautiful sunset on the Lake and had a wonderful time!!!! and a heck of a sun burn on my faceRofl!
It sure is great to live in America!!! I bet they dont fish much in the middle east.
you know i bet if we didnt push our political ideals on other countries and instead taught them how to fish the work would be a better placeThumbs Up

Sounds like a great day, even though you didn't get any crappie. Glad you had fun.
