    Has anyone fished the Arkansas river around Van Buren for crappie?

    Default river crappie

    Go ask them at Ken's at Van buren where people are catching them. They sell live bait. The white bass should be below the dam right now or if not soon. I have heard of several catching them at Vache Grass. I caught several at big creek on trotlines one year. That is down river from Vache Grass about 4 miles. It comes to the river just past Lavaca. GOOD LUCK.
