Nimrod was good to me!

Grand total 96 crappie. I started fishing Friday morning at 7:00am had a limit before 10:00am. I put them in the floating live box I built and my buddy and his boy got in my boat. Through out the rest of the day.. Well tore em up gives no justice, we slaughtered them, the wives and kids caught a hand full of of the bank. I returned this morning and finally finished a limit shortly before noon. Went to quarey cove to clean them, countylines cleaning table was down, we had a good lunch!
As for where and how, thanks to NIMROD directing me to the deeper water I found what I call a " super pile" near carden point. Probably a good 1/4 acre full of structure looked like stake beds? And there they were we caught hundreds most good eaters, threw away lots and caught several nice fish, no hawgs like I am used to here at home at the Lake of the Stump "Conway" caught them 15ft water on the bottom 1/8 jig head Per NIMROD and Bobby garland sent wigglers. I took no pics but my buddy did, I will try to get them.

Awesome time. I fished with Nimrod years ago and he sure knows how to fish, and I am not just talking about Lake Nimrod. I am going to have to make it up there one of these days, but its a long drive from here.

Awesome! I'll be at nimrod in three weeks camping. Had a friend today call me and say that he and a friend of his limited out early with some good fish. I just hope there are crappie left when I get out there. Post some pics when you can.

Afraid this cold front is going to wreck the fishing this week. Does this most years , too warm too early. Water temps already dropping today.
