Crappie Fishing Greers Ferry Saturday

Planning a trip to Greers Ferry Saturday.Fishing out of Hill Creek would Devils fork or Middle fork be better? How Deep and What color Crappie Jig is best?

we fished pole timber around Point 14 in South Fork last Sat, Sun, Mon and caught a few crappie, spots, and whites on minnow tipped jigs, fishing 10-12 feet in 20 feet of water. Tried upriver close to Johnson and caught whites and spots but no crappie. Cloudy and cold that weekend, water temp was in low 50's. Bet it's better now.

Last Saturday 3/19/2011
Fished Devils Fork and Middle fork Area caught 59 White Bass,Crappie and Spots on white grubs with pink or red head.Fish were on south facing banks with pole timber some were on the timber some were right on the bank.48-52 degree water

well done! we did not catch near that many, but we were there the weekend before, Mar 12-14, and like i said it was cold.
Going back up next weekend. Thanks for the info on the grub bite.
