I am addicted to tight tightlining. I have always done the most of my fishing on Rivers, Bayous, Slough's, and Oxbow lakes fishing the tops next to the bank. Being more of a hunter than a fisherman I have always done most of my fishing in the summer when water levels are low. Lately I have gave up golf and am fishing more.
Here is the question.
How do you fish high, muddy water?
My favorite places are flooded/high water right now. I fish the Cache, sloughs that feed it and the waters around Des Arc, the Bayou being my favorite. But I can never catch fish when the water is high.
I have been out and just cant seem to find the fish in the high water.
I really dont like lake fishing, fighting the wind and all.
So how do I catch Crappie when the water is high?

Depends on the lake and time of year. This time of year they will pull way back in the brush. Use a dark colored jig in dirty water.
