Hey, I just joined the board. I am from Batesville and love crappie fishing. I am however looking for someplaces halfway close to Batesville where I might be able to catch some slabs. I know someplaces to catch some crappie but nothing usually with much size to them. We have found some Oxbow lakes down around Bald Knob off the White River that we are thinking about trying, have heard they are suppose to be pretty good. I was wondering if any of you might know of some decent crappie waters around Batesville or an hour-hour and a half from Batesville. Any help would be welcomed.
