Petit Jean State Park

Need a little help from south Louisiana. Taking my family to Petit Jean on a little camping trip. Any tips on places to do some bank fishing at or near the state park? Thanks for the help.

I've never fished it but there is a lake in the Park.

Yes there is bank fishing. Check out the end of the overflow camping area. There may be more places but that is where I go if I am up there. Big Brim in there. Wish I was heading your way again to catch some of them Reds and Specs. Good luck & enjoy your stay.

You will probably get plenty of help if you will post this on the Louisiana board. There may not be many of the south Louisiana guys looking around on the Arkansas board. Just my suggestion. I would offer my help, but I live in Cotton Valley, which is just 12 miles from Arkansas and know nothing about south LA fishing. Good luck with your trip. Stay safe and hae fun.

Hey Pastor, Petit Jean is a state park in central Arkansas, It's ok though...there's been a change of plans. Looks like we're headed to North Mississippi now. We had issues locking up a campsite for a full week. Thanks for the help though.
