Hey Guys Catching several bass every trip in coves on submerged stumps you can see just below the surface. Try Dark colored TX rigged soft plastics, white and Chart tandem spinner baits, black/electric blue skirt brown trailer Jigs should get you bit. The big females are on submerged stumps in the middle of coves. The bigger fish in pics were all released by my house. The table of keepers on the table did'nt fare so well, as I like a mess of 1-3ers every now n then. The males are setting up on beds right now.

Nice fish... I love crappie fishing but every once in a while I like to fight me an ole green carp!!!
"Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn." - Chuck Clark :D
Nice bass, CP! I have been fishing Conway for bass the past couple weeks with no good luck. Mind sharing what part of the lake you found those on? I have mostly hit the Pierce Creek area smaller coves and been skunked. Appreciate any wisdom that you might share. It is pretty obvious you have a pretty good handle on lake Conway fishing in general. Thanks!
I wish I knew how you do it CP, that's a good haul.
A man is truly blessed, when he returns home from fishing to be greeted by the best catch of his life.
Nice catch CP!! I think Toni Mae & my try to go Crappie fishin on Conway tomorrow
Yes The coves across from pierce creek landing is where we are catching fish, along with just about any wind protected cove along the east side of the lake. Black or tequilla 7 inch power worms, zoom salty plus/ele blue/chart tail Lizzard tx rigged with 1/8th oz bullet should get you bit. Always have a light weight headed, gold n silver tandem blade, wht and chart skirt with trailer and stinger hook spinner bait tied on too, slow roll below surface. Good luck

Thanks for all the info CP. I certainly appreciate that you don't mind lending some wisdom to a less skilled fisherman :-) All I can say is that you are a fishin' magician, cause I was trying awefully close to your recipe for sucess yesterday morning at both the Dix creek and Pierce areas, still with no luck. My color was more the Junebug lizards, and some jigs, with a bit of chart/white spinnerbait at times. I dunno, but the temps had fallen back 3-4 degrees from last weekend, so that didn't help maybe, and the wind blowing more into the coves. Either way, thanks again, and maybe I will start catching some soon also.
