Caught fish almost every trip over last year. Caught many from the bank up close to the launch ramp. Many with great size to them. And yes it is regulated, they do come threw and check your vehicle to make sure that you have your permit visible. It does have a bunch of lily pads in the sumer but I didn't find that it hampered my fishing any. Lots of crappie and bream. It is very low and I hope they get it back up to normal level soon. I still like fishing old river much more and always will. I have not fished the old river in almost 6 years now but I find it would be real hard to beat the lake in my opinion. Jon

Me too!!
Hambone,
I used to fish there 20 years ago when I lived in Little Rock. I still fish around Roe and at Peckerwood and up and down the White River.
The bream fishing there used to be excellent. Don't know what it is like now but I sent my money in yesterday.
I'll keep you posted.

You calling "Old River" the one over by Clarendon? or the one north of Biscoe?
