    Default Black nose crappie

Has anyone caught any blacknose crappie in Conway this year, I usually catch a few each year, never very large, But very interesting to look at. I was told there was a reason for the special breeding of the blacknose crappie for research, but cant remember what its was for. Does anyone know why the came up with the special breed.

The Black mark is just a trait that showed up on Black Crappie from White River Watershed. AGFC use them to stock supposedly to see how well stocked fish doing?
